1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases made on the openboxdeals.co.za website (“the Website”). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before placing any order.

openboxdeals.co.za specializes in the sale of open-box, returned, clearance, and second-hand items at discounted prices. All items are sold as-is / voetstoots, with no returns or refunds unless otherwise stated.

2. Nature of Products

  • Our products are open-box or pre-owned, which means they may show signs of handling, repackaging, or minor cosmetic wear.

  • Items may not include original packaging, manuals, or accessories unless specified.

  • All descriptions and photos are provided to the best of our ability and reflect the condition at the time of sale.

  • Buyers acknowledge that products are purchased without any warranties, guarantees, or implied rights under Section 55 and 56 of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

3. Voetstoots (As-Is) Sales

  • All products are sold “as is” without any guarantee of condition or fitness for purpose.

  • By purchasing, you accept that there may be defects or missing components, and you agree that no refund or replacement will be provided.

  • The only exception is if an item is wrongly supplied by us. In such cases, we will offer an exchange or store credit.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) 

  • We accept EFT, card payments, and other payment methods as listed at checkout.

  • Orders will only be processed once payment is received in full.

5. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed within 2–3 working days after payment reflects.

  • Stock is limited, and all sales are subject to availability.

  • We reserve the right to cancel an order if stock is unavailable, in which case a refund will be issued.

6. Liability

  • openboxdeals.co.za will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of products purchased.

  • Responsibility for safe and proper use of products lies solely with the customer.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be handled in South African courts.
